In this chapter we get to know about 2 kids Margie and Tommy, Tommy was happy and always in good mood but Margie was not happy because she had to study on a computer and use a (TeleBook) except for a normal book. She was not happy at all because her Geography Teacher was giving her test after tests and she was not scoring well , Moreover her mother was also worried about her grades. Margie and Tommy have mechanical teachers. The mechanical teachers have big black screens on which lessons are displayed and questions are asked. The students need to put their home work and testpapers. Margie t has to write them out in a punch code. she learnt it when she was six years old. The Mechanical teacher calculated the marks in no time. In the story, the schools are there in the homes, Margie's school was right next to her bedroom. The students do not have. classmates. They study subjects like Arithmetic, history, Geography ete. The Mechanical Teachers would turn on the same time everyday except on the weekends.
